Beginning in the fall of 2026, Bishop Brady and Hopkinton will launch a new cooperative football program competing in NHIAA Division III.
The Brady-Hopkinton Football program will bring together student-athletes from both school communities to create a positive and competitive athletic experience. The program will be built on discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership. The program will focus on developing amazing student-athletes both on and off the field.
Whether new to the game or returning with experience, players will have the opportunity to grow, compete, and be part of building something special from the ground up. Brady-Hopkinton Football will be rooted in hard work, school pride, and a shared commitment to representing both communities with character and purpose.

Coach Evan Jacobsen leads the Brady-Hopkinton Varsity football program with a strong background in player development and a commitment to the student athlete experience. A New Hampshire native, he played college football at Norwich University and has coaching experience at both the college and high school levels. He is also an Army veteran and a graduate of the University of New Hampshire. Coach Jacobsen believes successful programs are built through strong relationships, discipline, accountability, and a commitment to getting better every day. His goal is to develop tough, team-first athletes who support one another, compete with pride, and grow as players, students, teammates, and people.
Ian Tewksbury

Ian Tewksbury is the Assistant Head Coach and Special Teams Coordinator as well as working with the wide receivers and defensive backs. Though new to high school football coaching, he brings years of youth coaching experience in baseball and basketball, developing athletes from 4th through 8th grade with a focus on effort, discipline, and accountability. He also started and ran a rec Flag Football skills and drills program in Hopkinton that at least one of the current Giant Hawks participated in. Ian spent six years on a high school football booster club’s leadership team and served as the home‑game announcer for four seasons, giving him a strong connection to the program’s culture and community. His coaching philosophy centers on one standard: give 100% every day. He believes success comes from effort not size, speed, or strength and expects players to leave everything on the field. Beyond football, Ian has served the Town of Hooksett for more than two decades, including the last five as the Captain of Fire Prevention. His background in public safety shapes his approach to preparation, teamwork, and developing resilient young athletes.

Coach Tony Keene brings extensive coaching experience to the Brady-Hopkinton football program. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management and an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice from Southern New Hampshire University and currently works in Human Resources for the Department of Veterans Affairs. After serving on active duty in the military, Coach Keene moved to New Hampshire and continued his coaching career with the Hillsboro-Deering-Hopkinton Redhawks Club Team, Manchester Eagles Pop Warner, St. Anselm College, and the Concord Capitols. While with the Concord Capitols, Coach Keene served as an assistant coach before becoming President of the association, a position he held through January 2025. Coach Keene is excited to bring his experience to the Brady-Hopkinton football staff.
Doug Ierardi

Coach Doug Ierardi started teaching and coaching in 1992 and has coached multiple sports throughout his career, including football, cross-country, track and field, and softball. He served as the offensive coordinator at Bishop Brady in 2004, as well as an offensive coordinator and head coach at Regis High School and Valley Catholic High School in Oregon. Coach Ierardi brings a wealth of coaching experience to the GiantHawks and is excited to share his knowledge and experience while helping develop the players both on and off the field.

Coach Jason Doyle is a Bishop Brady graduate from the Class of 2025 and a four-year, three-sport varsity athlete. Coach Doyle believes in creating a competitive atmosphere while keeping football fun and creating lifelong experiences for the players. He is excited to give back to the program and help create the same positive experiences for the next generation of football players.

Coach Connor Tewksbury is entering his first year coaching football after playing tackle football for 13 years. During his playing career, he gained experience at quarterback, wide receiver, running back, cornerback, and safety, giving him a well-rounded understanding of the game and its fundamentals. Coach Tewksbury will handle a majority of the team's scouting and opponent game planning while also helping with the wide receivers, defensive backs, and special teams at practice. His goal is to share his experience, help players develop their skills and confidence, and teach the importance of teamwork, discipline, and hard work.

The Brady-Hopkinton play their home football games at Edwin Cross Training Complex on one of the states newest turf fields. This new facility is located just minutes from campus providing a great stadium atmosphere on a versatile playing surface.
