Sean Hockensmith
Head Coach
Varsity Boys Lacrosse
Coach Sean Hockensmith leads the Bishop Brady boys lacrosse program with a focus on daily competitiveness, accountability, and team leadership. He holds a Master of Education from John Carroll University and maintains NFHS Coaching Certification along with CPR certification, reflecting both his educational background and commitment to athlete safety. Coach Hockensmith brings experience at the high school and collegiate club levels, having served as an assistant coach at Pembroke Academy and Bishop Brady before stepping into the head coaching role. As a former member of the John Carroll University Club Lacrosse team, he understands the importance of preparation, effort, and teamwork in a competitive environment. Coach Hockensmith coaching philosophy emphasizes being competitive and a good teammate every day. Coach Hockensmith believes accountability and leadership should run throughout the entire program, creating a culture where players support one another and take ownership of both individual and team success.

Named after Coach Owen, Bishop Brady Lacrosse plays their home games on campus. This natural grass playing surface offers a classic setting for competition right in the heart of campus, located behind Bishop Brady.
