The Bishop Brady Swimming program combines individual excellence with team unity in the pool. Competing in a variety of strokes and distances, our swimmers train with focus and determination—pushing themselves to improve technique, speed, and endurance with each practice and meet.

While swimming may be an individual sport on the surface, our team thrives on collective support and shared goals. From cheering on relays to celebrating personal bests, Brady swimmers build confidence, character, and lifelong habits of discipline and perseverance.

Head Coach
Varsity Swimming
Coach Lyndsey Hawkins leads the Bishop Brady swim program with a lifelong passion for the sport and a deep commitment to supporting student-athletes in their personal and athletic growth. She holds an A.S. in Orthopedic Technology and a B.S. in Healthcare Administration, and is certified through the American Red Cross in Lifeguarding, BLS, CPR, AED, and First Aid for the First Responder. Now entering her second year with the Giants, Coach Hawkins brings both experience and heart to the pool deck. Before joining Bishop Brady, she coached with the Lakes Region Wavemakers—the same club where she spent her own swimming career. Returning to the program that shaped her has given her a strong foundation for mentoring young swimmers and fostering a welcoming, competitive team culture. Her coaching philosophy centers on developing the whole athlete. Coach Hawkins believes in creating a positive, encouraging environment where swimmers feel empowered to challenge themselves and discover what they’re truly capable of. While reaching athletic goals is always important, she values the growth that happens along the way—resilience, teamwork, confidence, and pride that extend far beyond the pool.
