Jason Bird
Varsity Golf Head Coach

Now in his fourth year at Bishop Brady, Coach Jay Bird brings a unique blend of competitive experience, certified expertise, and infectious enthusiasm to our student-athletes. A graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a B.S. in Financial Management, Coach Bird also holds certifications as a Personal Trainer, Cycle Instructor, Strength and Conditioning Specialist, RRCA Running Coach, PTR Tennis Coach, and PPR Pickleball Instructor. His coaching philosophy centers on creating a gateway for student-athletes to have the most fun, build lifelong passions for sport, and grow through improvement, interaction, and shared experiences. An accomplished golfer with 15 years of league experience, Coach Bird maintains an active lifestyle through skiing, marathons, ultramarathons, hiking, and cycling. He also currently serves as the club tennis coach at SNHU. Coach Bird led the golf team to a 2024 state championship and was named Golf Coach of the Year in 2023. But as he puts it, “None of that matters as much as the involvement and positivity we bring to athletes and their families’ lives.”

Beaver Meadow Golf Course

Bishop Brady Golf is proud to call Beaver Meadow Golf Course home — one of the oldest golf courses in New England, with roots dating back to 1895. Originally built by Scottish pro Willie Campbell, the course has grown over the years into a full 18-hole layout designed by Geoffrey Cornish.
