Coach Marianne Thebodeau brings two decades of coaching experience to Bishop Brady, leading both the boys and girls varsity tennis programs as well as the JV girls basketball team. She holds a Master’s degree in Special/Elementary Education (M.Ed.) and maintains NFHS Coaching Certification, combining her background in education with a steady, student-centered coaching style. A lifelong athlete who began playing tennis in middle school, Coach Thebodeau has spent 20 years coaching at the high school level, helping countless athletes grow in confidence, skill, and personal discipline. Her programs are built on accountability, effort, and the understanding that high school sports extend far beyond the court—they are an opportunity to learn life lessons, set goals, build resilience, and represent one’s school and community with pride. Her coaching philosophy emphasizes that no individual is above the team and that putting on a Bishop Brady uniform means upholding the values and culture of the school every day. She encourages athletes to focus on small, daily steps toward improvement while embracing teamwork, responsibility, and respect. Coach Thebodeau’s leadership has contributed to significant program success, including being named the 2025 Division III Co-Coach of the Year, along with three state championships and five divisional championships.
